MARISSA PADOVANO joined MDAFP as an associate in 2021.Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Padovano represented the City of New York as a juvenile prosecutor handling a large variety of juvenile delinquency cases in Bronx Family Court. In 2020, Ms. Padovano transitioned to the City's Special Federal Litigation Division where she acted as an advisory counsel to the NYPD in the Floyd stop, question and frisk federal monitorship. Ms. Padovano was also involved in Section 1983 suits involving a wide variety of claims such as false arrests, malicious prosecution and excessive force.  At MDAFP, Ms. Padovano concentrates on the defense of municipal clients in cases involving liability claims, Civil Rights, and other personal injury claims.
