MARITANNA ISAKOV joined MDAFP as an associate in 2022, focusing primarily on matters involving municipal liability.  In her current role, Ms. Isakov represents municipalities and individuals in litigation matters concerning trip and fall and automobile accidents, subrogation, property damage, drainage rights, Child Victims Act, and employment discrimination matters in federal and state agencies and courts.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Isakov was a Senior Counsel at the New York City Law Department where she worked since 2014.  Ms. Isakov managed discovery for the Department of Transportation and the Department of Parks & Recreation in personal injury litigation actions against the City of New York.  As an experienced manager and litigator, Ms. Isakov created and implemented policies and procedures pertaining to agency-based discovery.  Ms. Isakov also taught the Continuing Legal Education course on background and litigation involving the Department of Parks & Recreation to the Tort Division's incoming attorneys. In the course of her legal career, Ms. Isakov represented plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation matters with an emphasis on municipal, premises, and automobile liability.  Ms. Isakov also represented businesses and individuals in an array of complex civil litigation matters and before New York City and State Administrative Tribunals.
