JEOUNGSON KIM began his legal career at a reputable general practitioner, where he practiced personal injury, matrimonial and estate law.  He joined MDAF in September of 1996 as an associate, and became a trial partner in 2002.  Mr. Kim specializes in all aspects of litigation and trial work.  He has tried cases in every county of New York City and Long Island.

  • Augusto Figueroa v. Andrew Mandel, Supreme Court, New York County – obtained a defendant’s verdict in a motor vehicle accident case in which plaintiff had sustained injuries including traumatic brain injury confirmed by brain MRI, diffuse tensor imaging and QEEG tests, 18 percent atrophy of the brain, cognitive and psychological impairment, post traumatic stress, fracture big toe, lumbar sprain/strain and cervical sprain/strain.
  • David Doerbecker v. Rolling V. Bus Corp and Blase Lopez, Supreme Court, Nassau County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a motor vehicle accident case in which plaintiff had sustained injuries including surgical removal of spleen, four rib fractures, punctured lung and lacerations.
  • Jean Fasano v. The Green-Wood Cemetery, Supreme Court, King’s County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a case involving a trip and fall accident in which plaintiff had sustained injuries including fracture humeral head right shoulder, tendon tears and frozen shoulder which required two surgical procedures.
  • Lisa Tumbleson v. The New York City Transit Authority, Supreme Court, New York County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a case involving a slip and fall accident in which plaintiff had sustained injuries including a bimalleolar fracture of the left ankle, open reduction and internal fixation and subsequent hardware removal.
  • Kim Todd v. The City of New York and Judlau Contracting, Inc., Supreme Court, New York County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a motor vehicle accident case due to construction work in which plaintiff had sustained injuries including herniated discs which would required surgery, sciatica and concussion.
  • Ido Barnea v. New York City Transit Authority, Supreme Court, New York County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a case involving a trip and fall accident in which plaintiff had sustained permanent facial scars.
  • Lorraine Bratro v. Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, et al., Supreme Court, New York County. - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a motor vehicle accident case in which plaintiff had sustained an L1 compression fracture.
  • Diane Unger v. Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, et al., Supreme Court, New York County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a motor vehicle accident case in which plaintiff had sustained right arm ligament damage requiring surgery.
  • William Garcia v. New York City Transit Authority, Supreme Court, New York County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a case involving a slip and fall accident in which plaintiff had sustained injuries including a right knee fibula fracture, medial meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament tears which required surgery.
  • Donald Lang v. New York City Transit Authority, Supreme Court, New York County – obtained a directed verdict in an escalator liability accident in which plaintiff alleged injuries including an amputation of the right 4th digit with flap closure, and a crush injuries to the right 3rd digit which required two surgical procedures.
  • Yelena Narkolayeva v. Keta Quinanes, Supreme Court, Kings County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a motor vehicle accident case in which plaintiff had sustained a fracture of the right distal humerus which required open reduction and internal fixation.
  • Jeanne Scanlon v. New York City Transit Authority, Supreme Court, New York County - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a case involving a trip and fall accident in which plaintiff had sustained injuries including a fractured nose, chipped tooth, herniated disc at C5-6, epistaxis requiring electric cautery and the need for decompressive cervical micro-laminotomy and medial facetectomy.
  • Terry Youngman v. Efren Martinez, United States District Court, Southern District of New York - obtained a defendant’s verdict in a motor vehicle accident case in which plaintiff had sustained multiple foot and toe fractures requiring surgery.
